Do you agree that Brutus had a noble motive when murdering his adopted father, Julius Caesar? Discus

              Gaius Cassius Longinus and Marcus Junius Brutus, Julius Caesar adapted son killed the Caesar with Roman senators when he wants to be a king of Rome. Caesar died in the Theatre of Pompey in front of Roman senators. They stabbed Caesar with knife about 23 times. After they killed Caesar, Brutus says in his speech in front of Roman people that they killed Caesar because he loved Rome and wanted to save Rome from destroy and Caesar domination.

            Brutus had no intention to do all that things since he had been seduced by Cassius to kill his forefather. He did not tell the reason the led to his conviction that he loved Rome than Caesar. Cassius, Decius, Brutus and other Roman senators also gather together to discuss how to kill the Caesar. From what I saw in the cartoon, Brutus refuses to kill the Caesar. He also afraid that Caesar would turn Rome into a Chaos after became a king. 

             When all that things happen, Brutus and Cassius are in a battle with Mark Antony and Octavius and turned Rome into Chaos. Many people were died because of this tragedy. Brutus and Caesar also ran to Philippi because Romans were looking for them to take revenge for Caesar death.
 

            Besides that, Cassius just used Brutus to take kill Caesar for his personal revenge. Cassius really wants to kill Caesar because he wanted to have a power. We can know that Brutus felt guilty in killing his father his hesitated to stab Caesar.

            In my opinion, Brutus did not have a noble motive when murdering his father, he just confuse to make a discussion.

Julius Caesar

Based on the documentary A.B.B, do you think all the vices committed by Julius Caesar were necessary in order to safeguard the superiority of Rome as the greatest civilization in the ancient world?

       Julius Caesar is hailed as a great leader and military genius. Many historians know that Julius Caesar was the greatest leader in ancient time and believe that the superiority of Rome was because of Julius Caesar. But behind his brilliant reputation lurks a more sinister side. He is responsible for murder, mutilation and the destruction of an entire nation. When Caesar arrives in Gaul, the population is six million. When he leaves less than five million remain alive and 1.5 million of those survivors and now slaves.He was known for both fairness & cruelty but his cruelty was calculated in order to consolidate his hold on power. Caesar shows no mercy towards women and children. He supposed to be a great leader but he only watched when women and children want to passed the circumvallation but Caesar did not let them and lastly they died in starvation. He doesn’t have any sympathy towards women and children and scarifying other people life just to protect his army and Rome. Julius Caesar also the master of propaganda.

          Besides that, he was cruel when he ordered his army to cut off every man hands as a warning for those who do not hear his order and were trying to against him. The way Caesar use maybe can scare the people not trying to against him but he never thinking the consequences that he will faced when he do that if he keep to use the method.

    Other than that, when he having the battles to dominate the other countries many people will died. Example when he approached to Avaricum, many people had been slaughtered by his army. Lastly, Caesar also had sexual dominance when slept with many women including his friends’ wives. He always has sexual behaviour. Based on the reason, I think that Julius Caesar’s vices were unnecessary in order to protect Rome.

          

Jack the Ripper in America

There were many suspects in the JTR murders over the years. What is the evidence that supports the claim that James Kelly was JTR? If you are rival detective, how do you eliminate all the evidence that you’ve identified in the documentary.

 James Kelly was first identified as a suspect in Prisoner because murdered his wife in 1883 by stabbing her in the neck. A retired NYPD detective named Ed Norris examined the Jack the Ripper and claims that James Kelly was not only Jack the Ripper’s real identity because he also the potential suspect of the serial killing which also happen in America. Ed Norris choose James Kelly because he worked as furniture upholster and capable to murdering with a knife, he is diagnosed of mental disorder, killed his wife with knife and he was in New York at the time of a Ripper-like murder.

                If I rival detective, I will says that Kelly was insane but most forensic psychologists and psychiatrist agree that Jack the Ripper was not insane. He was declared insane, so he didn't know what was going on when he lashed out his wife or stabbed her in the neck. He actually insane before being sent to asylum and the rule in English Law for judging insanity was whether or not the person knows what they were doing was wrong.Why Jack the Ripper came to the US and we already know that the reason the killing stopped in London.People know that the killer will have very good knowledge about White chapel  so they believe he lived there and why should he came to US that he doesn't know more about that place. Now, i'm still cannot decide who the real Jack the Ripper. Who?

From Hell

Distinguish between facts and fictions that are portrayed in the movie & which aspect of the plot that is accurate to the historical fact in the JTR murders and which aspect of the plot that is based on the filmmakers’ own imagination.

I have read the story about Jack the Ripper and watched From Hell starring Johnny Deep and Heather Graham, I notice that there have different between facts and fiction  that are portrayed in the movie and historical fact in the Jack the Ripper.  In the film, Martha Tabram is describe to be killed by having her throats and vagina cut off but in real life she had suffered 39 stab wounds. She was stabbed rather than slashed at the throat and abdomen.  Second victim if I not mistaken was Polly Nichols had one of her organs removed but in reality no organs were missing. No grape stalks were found at any of the crime scenes like the film. We all know that Mary Jane Kelly is actually the last victims of the ripper, but in the film she is not the last victim but another girl being murdered in Mary’s bed.  There is nothing to say that Mary survived and live with Alice, Anna daughter in Ireland.

                Marry Jane Kelly was died when her throat had been severed down to the spine, and the abdomen virtually emptied of its organs, and the heart was missing. In the film, the murder put the Mary heart in a jar. In the film, Ada, stride friends have been mistaken as Mary.  There also no evidence that all the victims was a friends although they came from same area. In the film, Martha, Marry, Polly, Annie, Liz and Catherine was friends and always been together.  There also no evidence that Inspector Frederick Abberline used opium or drug and less being addicted to “chasing the dragon” and died alone commit suicide, immediately after the Ripper murders. The true is Abberline is retired in 1892 until 1929 and died in his house.

        

ANCIENT ALIENS: THE EVIDENCE

State several evidence which support the ancient astronaut theory. Discuss whether you agree or disagree to the evidence that you have identified.

                 

                 Based on the movie I have watched Ancient Aliens: The Evidence, I have found several evidence which support the ancient astronaut theory. That was small wood model of birds (I want to fly) was called Scara Bird. Nazca Dessert has ancient designs with simple lines and geometric shapes. They have drawings of animals, birds and humans on the wall and land. We can only figures the design way up in the air. They also found small figurine just looks like insects and fish and gold object like the airplane.

            Apart from that, the airship, fly machine dimannas (Pukma Vimana) can control with mentality. The figure was used to guide spaceships when they came in for a landing, and the lines as runways. Then, they have found Sanskrit epics which were written in India. Those things contain references to mythical flying machines called Vimanas. People say that Vimanas looks like UFOs, ancient aliens from other planets visited India during that time. Flying carpet by King Salomon also being says by people back then.

            Other than that, giant human figure with enormous heads also been found at Easter Island. These statues stand 13 feet high and weigh 14 tons, and can be much heavier. That work was their mark on the island. They also found a field of stone ruins scattered with giant carved blocks. The blocks were made with precise workmanship on a beautiful scale. Who the person build the blocks without modern tools and engineering techniques? Lastly, the book of Ezekiel part of the Bible, they believe that bible was containing of the vehicle’s design that have modern spaceship. There have a book name The Spaceship of Ezekiel.

            My opinion, I disagree to the evidence that they have found. All that things, left by ancient people. They draw and build by themselves without help from aliens and other else. Maybe they do with their own skills. We do not know what skills they have and we simply says that they get help from aliens. We all know in this world, aliens do not even exist. Ancient people have much creativity that we do not know. Example likes pyramid in Egypt, their skills to build that huge thing.

            As the conclusion, in this world have many things that we not discovered yet. Can the ancient astronaut find what ancient people left to us?  We have to keep the treasures left by ancient people and not damaging the precious treasures.  

SUPER SIZE ME

Based on the facts presented in this documentary are you convinced that fast food is the main cause of obesity in United States and around the world?

        

                Many people believe that there is an epidemic of obesity in America. Certain Americans eat poorly and eats too much fast food for the daily sustenance. If you want to know, 46 millions fast food were served daily. As we know, there are a lot of fast food Company in this world such as Mc Donald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Wendy and others. Mc Donald also in danger of its fore were well known. Many people like to eat Mc Donald because its variety of choice likes super size and Big Mac. Mc Donald also have a case when two girls failed to allege that consumption of food caused their injuries when eats that fast foods.

            Morgan Spurlock does the research that wills fast food cause the obesity among the people in Super Size Me. For me, I think fast food not the main causes to the obesity. There have other causes that can cause the obesity to people in United States. Morgan takes 30 days challenge to eat only fast food during that day. Before he takes the challenge, he sees the doctor and nutrition to take the advice and body test. Many fast food companies do not provide food that is nutritionally in general. What I know, some foods in nutrition outlets have menu that are healthier than others menu, but many people do not prefer to order the nutritious foods. Did they know that, fast food have many calories which put weight on them?

            Many people not eat the proper foods for great health, so this also can cause the obesity. They refuse to eat vegetables, fruits and vitamins for supplements. They also lack of exercise. After eat, they not do the exercise, just lying down or doing something that can cause to obesity. Each people should try doing vigorous exercise every day. Many things can cause the obesity not just eat the fast food. Obesity can occur according to his body immunity not the fast food.

            Besides that, other factor cause the obesity around the people is their mentality. As we know, people easily can be influenced by free food and advertisement. When Mc Donald or other fast food company make a new flavour and advertise it on television or newspaper, people will attract with the colourful and yummy illustration. A person’s genetic may contribute to obesity.

            As the conclusion, fast food is not the main cause of obesity in United States and around the people. This problem is cause by people itself and environment around us. We can eat the fast food but only our self can control the nutrition.

Malay people and Bumiputras not have been given enough facilities. They just concerned about people that has a strong influence in politics.   

I will say that I disagree what Chow Kon Yeow says about NEP. He is not telling the fact about this issue.  What I have state in preposition, NEP just make can make a trouble to Malay and Bumiputras and racism problem. Several policies of the NEP which give economic advantage to the rich Bumiputras, such as Bumiputra quotas in ownership of public company stock, and housing being sold exclusively to Bumiputras, are viewed as discriminatory.

Furthermore, premise 2, NEP has many corruption and abuse among the politician and society. In 2008, the chief minister of the state of Penang, Lim Guan Eng, made a breakthrough decision whereby he announced that the new state administration will be free from NEP. This statement made a big mistake to DAP. Many Malay people made a protest against that issue.

Discuss whether or not Tun Abdul Razak's son, our current prime minister, Datuk Seri Najib is continuing his father's legacy primarily in affirmative action.

                For my opinion when I watched the video A Leader’s Legacy Tun Abdul Razak I think Datuk Seri Najib is not continuing his father’s legacy. Tun Abdul Razak was our 2^nd Prime Minister after Tunku Abdul Rahman. Tun Abdul Razak had played a huge part in making Malaysia for what it is today. But, this legacy has not been shown by his son Najib Razak, our current prime minister. Tun Abdul Razak had tried many ways to unite all people at that time. He also calm when May 13 incident, a day that changed Malaysian politics where the entire nation lived in infamy. When Malaysian experiencing a crisis with communist parties is becoming more common, he took a step that not everyone agreed that a visit to China to meet President Mao. For me, Tun Abdul Razak had taken the right steps to solve the problems that occur than keep silent  

         Datuk Seri Najib  begin with new concept that was 1 Malaysia,  on 16 September 2010, calling for the cabinet, government agencies, and civil servants to more strongly emphasise ethnic harmony, national unity, and efficient governance. Datuk Seri Najib creates 1 Malaysia to stresses national unity and ethnic tolerance but I think this concept his father’s Tun Abdul Razak has established over the years, but not everyone is aware of that concept. Nowadays, if we look closely Malay people now increasingly looked down upon by other races because of their own attitude. All the things that Datuk Seri Najib does have long been existence since his father became prime minister, but just use the new concept to attract the community. The unities that Tun Abdul Razak built were destroyed because of a dispute between political parties now. Datuk Seri Najib also do not know what action should be made to resolve the problems that occur .

         

          When Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development (MeCD) abolished by Datuk Seri Najib many people do not say anything no demonstration, no protest and no attack. Perhaps they have forgotten that the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development is an important and strategic ministry in improving the standard of living of the Malays, the people who now are the majority group in the category of poor and hardcore poor in Malaysia. Now, Malay people will poor and being looked down upon by other races. This is just my POV, I do not mean anything.

Do you think Gandhi is responsible for the tragic end of his eldest son, Harilal?

          For me Gandhi is not responsible for the tragic end of his eldest son Harilal because this is the path that Harilal chose for his destiny. They had strained and complex relationship. Gandhi’s wife Kasturba wanted Harilal got proper education but Gandhi wanted Hari to get an education in their mother tongue. Gandhi also chose who to get married with Hari, for Gandhi he wanted to make perfect future to his son. He also wanted Hari to follow all his order. Harilal and Gandhi had dreams in opposite direction. Harilal wanted to become barrister like his father so he wanted to further his study in England but meanwhile Gandhi wanted his son would join him to his ideals and causes that had he made. 

       When Prajivan-bhai wanted to give the scholarship to further study in barrister, Harilal gave the interested but Gandhi not gave that opportunity to his children but someone else it was unforgivable moment to Hari. For me, first I watched this movie I feel that Gandhi being so bad to his own son because he did not give the opportunity to Hari and just thought about someone else than his own family. He knew Hari wanted to further the study, but how could he still being bad to Hari. His father wanted to give everything to him, but for Hari, world only saw his father not him if he worked with his father. He wanted to find his own path and own identity.

             He did not want his father helped although his father wanted to lead him to correct way. He decided to find his own destiny and left South Africa and joined his wife. He went back to school to take the exam but his failure and ended in a financial dump. He tried to borrow from his father, but Gandhi had no money.  Each of his schemes to make money fell through and he ended up building a horrible reputation for himself, all the while tarnishing his father’s name. Besides, he also involved in a crime by cheating in his business. He turned to alcohol for solace and shuffles back and forth between Hinduism and Islam, in a never-ending search for peace. Gandhi also gave Harilal much opportunity to come back to him, but Hari refused. So, Gandhi is not responsible for what happened to Harilal, he chose this path for his own.

In your opinion, do you think Gandhi has failed in his life work which is to promote non violence reuniting the people of India?

             I have watched Gandhi Movie, in my opinion Gandhi is not failed in his life work which is to promote non-violence and reuniting the people of India. When he was at South Africa, he wanted to reunite all people at there no matter what religion they are such as Jews, Hindus, Muslims, Christians and Sikh. His slogan was “one law one king” but British did not want to accept that particular things and always arrested Gandhi. 

             He came back to India with his wife and Charles the reporter. He did not know anything about India and wanted to find the real India, so he travelled around India with his wife and Charles.  Gandhi knew that India wanted the home rule, not rule that had been made by British. Gandhi emerged on the scene to bring the country under its own rule. He always said that in justice he always believed and “if I want to be like them, I have to live like them”. 

               All Indian loved Gandhi and even called him “Bapu” or “Gandhiji” that meant father. Gandhi always did the right things to help the Indian got what they deserved. He also led India protesting the national salt tax and later British immediately quit from India. He wanted the Indian peaceful, non violent and non cooperation. He wanted a freedom for the India. He also wanted Hindu-Muslim unity and defies the British. Gandhi also worked hard to stop the carnage between Muslims on the one hand and Hindus and Sikh that raged in the border area between India and Pakistan.

                  Gandhi spent his last days trying to bring about peace between both nations. He thereby angers many dissidents on both sides, and then he has been killed by Hindus nationalist. We can know that Gandhi always tried hard to make India independence from British and make a freedom to all Indians. 

In your view, do you think Sherlock is an empathic character?

        Sherlock Holmes is a consultant detective in London. I do not know did he help the police to solve four serial suicides. He always does what he want and go where he wanted. The weirder the crime, the more he likes it not matter what the case.  He not paid by anyone, he does everything what he want. Did he empathize to someone else or just do what he thinks right to him? But when he has a new case that police cannot solve it, they will ask him to help them. Certain police does not like him just because he is psychopath especially Sergeant Donovan. In this case, Sherlock Holmes will cooperate with John Watson, the army doctor. Sherlock and Wilson will solve the case Pink, to find the suicide murderer. The murderer has killed four people. For the last murder, the victim leaves note. So, Sherlock so excited to find the murderer. Other than that, we can know that Sherlock also think about someone else because he wants to help solve the suicide murder. For the last victim, Jennifer Wilson, he gets a clue how the murder kills all victim that was Pink. Maybe Jennifer wears pink or like pink color. John says that women have asphyxiation because all victims have the same evidence. So, they know the fourth case also a serial killer. Sherlock have found the pink suitcase but Jennifer phone was missing. So, he and Dr Watson try to find the mobile phone. When they are trying to find the phone, lastly clue leads them to taxi cabbies. All the suicide murder has been done by cabbies  Apart from that, we know that Sherlock Holmes try to help solve the serial killer. For me this movie was interesting. We can know how Sherlock and Dr Watson help solve the suicide murder. In conclusion, Sherlock is an emphatic person. 

     

Several eureka moment that you have experienced throughout the documentary

              Several eureka moments that I have been experienced at 30 July 2012 are when we want to pay attention to the cards, remember and choose one of those cards. Then, the trick begin, what I don’t expect is the cards all same nothing different. First attention or game 1 is when the magician does his magic to the money. All the surroundings change and I didn’t notice at all because I am focusing on the trick, but I notice that the hat change black to brown. So, we can’t notice because we are focusing on one thing at the same time. Then, when give the picture and remember what have changed is difficult to me. Many things have changed in that picture. In second picture, we have to identify what have changed, I only discovered two things but there are seven changes in picture. Game 3 is when receptionist change but only three people notice that. This method maybe can trick our brain if we don’t careful. In game 4, when Appolo do his survey to take things from people. 

We have to notice what things he takes from that man. I only can notice the handkerchief and scarf he took from that man, wallet and phone I don’t know. Our brain also cannot do many works at the same time, we can mess it at all. For example, when we are too focus on driving and answered the question at that time it can disturb our attention. I also didn't notice three animals behind Appolo, because pay attention what he say and do, what I have notice is all his things change into freeze drinks. When host tells us to count how many dancer dancing in the circle when they dance I only notice the penguin walk in the middle because I am not to focus count dancer in the circle. I also know that when we are in hypnosis, we can say and remember the impossible words fast than before. Lastly, we are paying the attention at back of the picture that says “Are You Paying Attention”. I did not notice every game have brain. So, pay the attention what we are doing.
